The Henry invites you to join us for the opening celebration of the common S E N S E, a museum-wide exhibition by internationally renowned artist Ann Hamilton.
This exhibition will occupy the entire museum with new, large-scale installations and immersive experiences that explore Hamilton’s deep interest in communication across cultures and time, and in the spoken and written word.
An artist of exceptional international significance, Hamilton has transformed such spaces as The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C. (2003, 1991); The Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, St. Louis (2009); and New York’s Park Avenue Armory (2012). Her seminal show accountings (1992) remains, for many, the Henry’s most memorable exhibition.
