Daniel Baumann is an art historian, curator, and writer for Kunst-Bulletin, Parkett, and Spike Art Quarterly. Recipient of the Swiss Award for Best Curator (2006) and Special Advisor for Frieze (2009/10), Baumann is curator of the Adolf Wölfli Foundation at the Kunstmuseum Bern and the Carnegie International in Pittsburgh (2013), the oldest North American exhibition of international contemporary art.

The University of Washington School of Art, in conjunction with the Nebula Project, is pleased to announce its Winter Quarter 2014 artist lecture series. This annual series is organized to accompany the course Art 361/595 Critical Issues in Contemporary Art Practice, taught by guest lecturer Eric Fredericksen. Doors open at 6:15pm and seating is first come first served for those with reserved tickets. All unclaimed seats will be released at 6:50pm. If you were unable to RSVP, please come by the Henry front desk, as a limited number of standby tickets will be made available 10 mins prior to the lecture.
